Walks in “Walking in Your Community” will typically last approximately 2 hours. This is approximately 3 and a half miles to 5 miles depending on the speed of the group. It is critical that a Community Walk Leader and their group adhere to this and the other elements in the scope of the scheme. In addition, Community Walk Leader’s need to take into consideration the fitness, experience and ability of the group.
