Old Lagan Canal Towpath, Aghagallon
This trail follows the line of the old Lagan Canal along a tarmac towpath. The path is smooth and flat and is ideal for disabled users, walkers and cyclists. From the canal it is a short distance to the Montiaghs Moss Area of Scientific Interest, an important peat habitat.

Route Description
The walk begins from either Annaghdroghal Bridge where there is limited on-road parking or from Cranagh Bridge where an off-road car park that leads easily onto the towpath itself. From the bridge, walk along the trail until you come to green fencing, and then retrace your steps.
