Ballycastle to Glenarm
Link Section offering a poor weather alternative to the Moyle Way following rural roads along the east coast through villages of Cushendun and Cushendall.
It also acts as a Link Section between the end of Quality Section – Moyle Way at Waterfoot and the start of Quality Section – Glenarm to Ballynure incorporating Antrim Hills Way.
There are good transport connections along this Link section.

This is a Link section therefore walkers are actively encouraged to make use of the public transport links between Ballycastle and Glenarm.
The first part of this Link Section from Ballycastle to Waterfoot offers a poor weather alternative to the Moyle Way which can become very soft under foot after a period of rain. This section follows mainly quiet rural roads.
For those who have walked the Moyle Way the second part of this Link Section offers connections onwards to the start of the Quality Section – Glenarm – Ballynure incorporating Antrim Hills Way. This section follows parts of the busy A2 Coast Road and quieter rural roads.
The route is not signposted on the ground.
