Route Description
Accessing from Mill Hill, this circular trail takes walkers around the perimeter of the Wood. Be prepared for the steep start before the trail levels out. Enjoy the varied woodland, taking a rest after you descend to cross over the bed of former railway line. From here a gentle climb using the forest road, will allow you to complete the loop.
Please note that due to steps and some steep sections, this trail is unsuitable for bicycles, those who use mobility aids and most push chairs.
Find your way about by following the colour codes trail waymarker discs on the wooden posts located throughout the wood.
