Tievenadarragh Wood - Drumaness Trail
Tivenadarragh Wood offers 6km (3.6 miles) of waymarked trails exploring the woodland with the opportunity to take in panoramic views of the County Down countryside and the Mourne Mountains.
The woodland's name derives from the Irish Taobh na Darach, which means "hillside of the oak tree". Records show that it was retained as woodland to provide firewood for the local area and for sporting purposes.
