
Portglenone Forest Walk
All of Portglenone Forest is classified as an ‘Ancient Woodland’. Forest Service NI has provided visitor facilities in the forest that includes picnic tables, toilets with wheelchair access, and a number of waymarked Trails leading down to the Bann River. The ground flora contains extensive colonies of Ancient Woodland indicator species which take centuries of woodland cover to establish.
