About the Group
We are Dromore Walking Group and we meet every Thursday morning at 9.30am in the car park in Dromore, Co. Tyrone.
We do mainly off road walks within a 20 mile radius of Dromore and every 6-8 weeks we take a day away. eg. To Bundoran and Rossnowlagh, Donegal town etc.
We take 1 or 2 boat trips a year on a walking day.
New members are always welcome but ring 07720420586 to check in advance. We share the driving and bring refreshments every Thursday.
Where We Usually Walk
We normally go to Castle Archdale Country Park, Tom's Island at Old Castle Archdale , Necarne, Pettigo, Castlecoole, Castle Caldwell, Loughmacrory, Pigeon top, Ecclesville, Fivemiletown.
In winter we include the Strule walk in Omagh town and the new walk around Enniskillen.
