About the Group

Big Red Arrow 27 has its roots in the Lisburn/Drumbo area and currently offers walks on Thursday mornings starting at 0930 until 1230 approximately, from various locations in the Co.Down/South Antrim area.

Tuesday evening local walks: from 1900 until 2030 run from May through August on a fortnightly basis.

Local "buggy-friendly" walks take place on the second Tuesday of each month from 1000 until 1130 approximately. Please note that it is not compulsory to have buggies/babies to attend these walks!

Where We Usually Walk

Local Walks include: Belvoir Park Forest, Lagan Meadows, Clement Wilson Park, Minnowburn/Giant's Ring, Barnett's Demense, Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park, Colin Glen, Black Mountain/Divis and Cregagh Glen.

Further afield includes: Tollymore, Castlewellan, Murlough Antrim, Crawfordsburn Country Park, North Down Coastal Path, Ards Peninsula, Victoria Park, Comber Greenway.

Walks are reviewed and updated regularly.
